III Travel Stipend Request Form

Please find below the reimbursement policy for Judges and Academics effective February 27, 2024. This policy will be under review for future conferences/projects.

Eligibility

1) Only full-time sitting judges or full-time academics are eligible.

2) The person must be a contributor to the conference or event (panelist, board member, committee chair, discussion leader, additional discussant, additional contributor).

Reimbursement Maximums (all amounts in USD) are as follows:

On-Continent	$1,275	$900
Off-Continent	$3,000	$2,000

Process

If your expenses will not be fully covered by your Institution and you would like to request travel reimbursement for expenses incurred please complete the form below. Your request for reimbursement will be reviewed and if eligible under the above guidelines will be approved and paid by the III Administrative Director.

To ensure a proper audit trail and accountability, this policy has changed to be a reimbursement process, not a stipend process (as was the case previously), so judges and academics seeking reimbursement will need to provide receipts to III after the event up to the reimbursement maximum. If receiving the reimbursement after the event will present a hardship, the individual may submit receipts before the conference to receive part or all the reimbursement.
